Delta Religion : Hebrew Union Temple

The Lamensdorf family of Rolling Fork, Mississippi celebrated the Bat Mitzvah of their two twin daughters at the Hebrew Union Temple in Greenville, Mississippi. The Jewish congregation in Greenville was at one time the largest on the Delta. Today with less numbers, many congregants reminisced of earlier days during the welcomed occasion of the Lamensdorf Family. On their prayer shawls is the hebrew phrase, "From Generation to Generation."
