Hayman Fire
5 Years ago this week the Hayman fire devastated a large chunk of the Pike National Forest. This tree is 3 years old and will give shade to my great grandkids...or my kid's dog....if it's a small dog of course. It's a long road back to being a forest, but nature always seems to be very independant in the realm of scheduling.
