District of Columbia
Ok, I worked out my existential funk and I am back blogging again. So sorry for the delay. These are from my recent trip to Washington DC to attend the Associated Press Managing Editors Conference. DC as a city reminds me quite a bit of Europe. The city sits so fortified and secure at night, the giant helicopters flying up and down the Potomac help that feeling as well. It was my first time there and left feeling very impressed with the city.

I love DC and miss it very much ... glad you felt (and portrayed) the cool vibe it has ... ahhh, its a great city (in spite of the politics)
