Dia de los Muertos

Last night I went to the Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley to photograph the Day of the Dead celebrations. It was only supposed to be a caption only in the paper so I made it into a slideshow for the web. Shooting things like this are truly some of my favorite subjects to cover. I really love and appreciate the interesting and interactive things happening in my own community. When I was a kid I remember feeling so cool watching my dad play in a band at a concert that was at a community event like this. So...what I am getting at is, if you like the photos then support your local goings-on.

Remember when I tried to go there to cover pro-wrestling and they said it hadn't been there for over two years... awkward.
