Brooklyn

Brooklyn; any previous notions I had regarding what a neighborhood or community consist of were not complete until recently. I took this picture within minutes of arriving. Surrounding me were pictures to be taken. The past two mornings I have eaten fresh waffles and a cold coke for breakfast at a tiny cafe on this street and watched the constant flow of the Park Slope neighborhood dip and twirl around itself. (these kids were so friendly and funny. the "net" is the tiny yellow speaker box on the wall.)
