Legacy Parkway

My friend Amy once gave me a book called Cape Light, it's all that was in my head on this assignment. How do you shoot a highway with no cars? For those outside of Utah, it is Utah's first parkway. It was started in 1999, caused a bunch of controversy and got caught up in the courts, and will finally have commuters this week.
It may be hard to believe, but I even did a slideshow, if you are really into roads, commuting or Utah byways, click here

The plus side of photographing empty roads: you're taking your life in your own hands when you dart across the street. See: that crazy new intersection interchange I photographed last fall.
