Sisters of the Book

Terril Dougan of Salt Lake recently finished her memoirs that chronicled her and her sister's life together. Her younger sister Irene is mentally disabled and has had her mind set on independence for many years. Terril's book starts at childhood and continues to the present. I spent the day with them recently, Terril is very articulate and does a better job than I would at explaining their relationship. Here are a few from the assignment.

The first two pictures are my favorites. I love shadows in photography...and this one is touching. I also love her standing in front of the picture of herself at a younger age.
