Bald Eagles are like gold here in the States. People waste Sundays searching for them or get tattoos of them in front of American flags and lightning bolts. I wonder if in some other world Bald Men somehow garner the same respect and prestige. We can only hope.

wow.
nice info... and lovely are these pics !!
Here in Northern Minnesota seeing an eagle has become a daily deal. It is especially true now that winters carnage is being uncovered in the melting snow - they are scavengers after all. But, they still never cease to amaze me. They stand very tall and their wing span - wow!
All of your photography is visually excellent - exciting, dynamic, accomplished! Well done.
Beautiful. Bald Eagles always remind me of my dad. They are his favorite.
that would be pretty awesome. bald men UNITE!
MIke Congrats on your NPPA award....that is so awesome dude!!!!! Seeing that up there made me miss you and the staff big time....I hope all is well....we should catch up some time soon...it has been way too long.
Great shots! Unfortunately, I think Bald eagles are still rarer than bald men, though their status is improving greatly.... As an avid birdwatcher, the thrill of seeing an eagle diminshes very little between the first time and the several-hundredth.

I can't speak for myself but your stock certainly is rising!
Wow, I can't even decide which of the two I likes best... nice pics!
Living in WI as winter leaves the Bald Eagles become plentiful. Seeing several a day is not uncommon. Knowing that else where they are rare only makes my appreciation greater!
I agree with Mike Calanan...
