Prologue

Unguarded - the only place a foreigner can seem to get a photo sometimes is from behind. Being the pink skinned bald guy sweating like I'm on the foul line, I stick out and I end up shooting portraits of everyone as they curiously smile or stare into the lens. You'll start to notice my futile attempts at being "subtle" in the coming posts.

I have some more work to post from India. I can't imagine how photographers who spend months and months in an area wade through all that they shoot and somehow edit down stories to make sense. I was gone only a few weeks and I am still just puttering around with a bunch of photos seeing things differently than I did just after coming home last month. There will be more to come, some may be nicely packaged but plenty will be random so brace yourselves.
