Wawel / Krakow

I am beginning to crawl out of photographic dormancy. We are settled here and things are slowly resembling a routine. Not surprisingly, I have been drawn to the unending perspectives of intersection here. The type of buildings and how they layer across one another is so incredibly different that I'm starting to wait for the people to walk out of the frame.

I like to study Gestalt principles of perception and this picture challenges the thought that our eyes/brains copy a 1:1 perspective of what's in the real world because there is a "lag", if you will, in the judgement of the reality or proportions of the veridical experience. Nice work. :)
