Erik Daenitz in Berlin

Erik came for a visit to check out Berlin and finally work on a book project we've been kicking around for a few years.  Knowing that my surroundings look different to a visitors set of eyes makes my perception of the buildings, streets and city expand somehow.  Visitors are a good thing, we walked across the city and I heard myself say, 'the buildings in this part of town are crazy!' at 15 minute intervals.  Berlin is architecturally overwhelming on foot.

It was his first trip to Europe and our project involves photographs from his fathers journey across Europe as a young architect.  The book project is going into print this summer.
