Are you still a blogfan trooper?
This is sortof a test to see if Sarah is still checking this blog for updates from the ol' office computer. If she is I imagine tommorow morning around 8 or 9 i'll be getting a call asking why I posted a picture of her. To keep it fair, it is a pic I like and has a good story. My favorite kind of people are "troopers". My dad likes those kind too. On long hikes as a kid he would wiggle a chocolate bar behind his back to get us to keep up. He might as well have attached it to a long fishing rod and stuck it in the back of my trousers to let it hang in front of my face because I remember it being pretty effective. This photo was taken at about 3 in the afternoon in Seattle this summer. I dragged Sarah up the Oregon and Washington coast to Seattle in one day. We drove all day, stopped at the Columbia River, Old Portland Highway, and Seaside and pulled into Seattle at about 2 or 3 in the morning. I didn't really have a plan for any stops or what the trip up was going to be. This kindof a "fly by the seat of your pants" approach is loathed by many. She didn't seem to mind and it was one of the best road trips I have ever been on. After sleeping only 4 hours she even woke me up to get the free breakfast (that ended at 9) at the hotel. After that we both went back to bed to catch up on sleep. We walked around Seattle all day, watched the Red Sox murder the Mariner's at SafeCo field and then drove through to night to the Washington/Canada line to our next destination. We drove 1200 miles in two days and I didn't have to wiggle any chocolate behind my back.

Yes, I still check this and I AM a trooper. And Mike, you will be getting a call. Its not every day you're looking on the Internet and find a picture of yourself. That road trip was awesome, though. Seattle being one of my favorite places in the world. Mike wasn't that bad of a trooper himself.
