Details of a Summer

Click the above image for an audio slideshow.
The Gazette has recently started a push to make the paper more transparent to readers via the website gazette.com. This slideshow is meant to show the variety of assignments covered by a photojournalist intern. Enjoy. I'll probably get like the defining photo of my internship this week after this has already been released online.

Hey Mike, it's Keely. Known to you as Keely Hill. I got the link from your blog from Chelsea's blog. You do an amazing job. It's awesome to see how happy you are with what you do. That's something not everyone finds, you know? Your photos are amazing, you can tell you put a lot of thought into what you do.

Crazy that the summer is pretty much over, huh. Glad to know your experiences in Colorado were memorable and hopefully lasting. For some reason watching this audio slideshow made me want to blog my Costa Rica trip. Guess I'll get right on that...

PS. Beirut is awesome.

Hey you. I wish there were more self portraits in that slide show. Overall, you're pretty cool. I know your humble, so I could compliment you, but who knows when that dam of humility will break under the weight of extensive complimenting. But still, you're pretty alright. or awesome. whatever.

As always, excellent job my friend, however, your voice is different. It's almost like someone else was talking on that slideshow! Anyway, I'm sure Colorado will miss you, but Utah is thrilled to get you back for more than two days. Yee-haw.

Ah mike, very nice. Good summer of photos. I really like the slide shows you’ve started putting up. It would be cool if the Chrony could start utilizing them on their website, by the way are you going back to the Chrony? (nice segway eh?) I’ll be there a couple days a week... well that’s the plan right now. But regardless glad to have ya back in UT.

I haven’t heard back from him either, that’s why my plan is tentative.

This was truly a treat! Its always cool to recap a period of time in your life like that. The voice-over made it even better because you have great insight as well as a great eye (is it creepy for me to say that even though I don't even know you outside the blog realm? hope not). Anyway - so good to see someone who loves their work. May we all be so lucky.
